Since 1996, we’ve been developing high-quality software solutions for businesses and organizations such as yours, from large corporations to small, family-owned businesses. Our customers include the Boeing Company, the United States Marine Corps and the United States Air Force.
We’ve developed and revised hundreds of software applications to make them more powerful and effective for the organizations that depend upon them. These applications range from real-time military jet fighter cockpit simulators and military flight test analysis tools to database applications for tracking manufacturing procurement and receiving information, as well as database applications for tracking manufacturing “non-conformance” issues and resolutions for components on NASA’s Space Shuttles.
Each of these software applications required top quality, expert analysis and design, and a sharp focus on details to become successful, dependable tools for our customers. We apply these skills to all of our customers’ software solutions.
Solutions That Save You Time And Money
We’ve built software solutions that save our customers time and money, reduce headaches and produce better data reporting tools than the expensive information management solutions that these customers had previously invested in.
Data Migration
We’ve migrated data from outdated and expensive-to-maintain IBM mainframe computers to the most current Windows servers for easy, reliable, speedy and inexpensive network access by employees located throughout the United States.
We replaced these cryptic and archaic command line driven applications with easy to use “point and click” graphical user interface applications. We also converted the hierarchical file-based data structures to relational database structures, thereby preventing redundancy and duplication of data placed in multiple files. Relational database design reduces errors from the multiple inputs, changes, deletions (and occasional omission of these records) inherent in the hierarchical data structures.
From Expensive IBM Mainframe Database to Cheaper, Faster And Easier Relational Database
On one of these data migration projects from an IBM mainframe to a relational database application, the labor for data input, changes and deletions was cut by more than 80%, while accuracy increased to a near perfect rate. Our new database application produced data reports far more accurate than the former database application, and even produced reports that had been impossible to create with the earlier database application.
Training time to use this new application was reduced to almost nil, because new users no longer had to memorize a large number of cryptic key words to advance from one task to the next, which was required in the former database application. New users didn’t have to learn the multiple storage locations to input, change and delete data, which was also required in the former IBM mainframe hierarchical file-based database application. And new users didn’t have to memorize the multitude of steps to accomplish each task, as had been required by the former database application.
We even reduced disk storage space by nearly 60% and data access times by more than 60% with this new database application. Clearly, this new database application was a huge success and saved our customer both time and money and provided better tracking capabilities than the former database application.
Tools To Combat Common Software Problems And Disasters
Some of our customers have very large organizations and have employees dispersed throughout the United States, as well as across the globe. Large, widely dispersed organizations tend to have both enterprise level software applications and plenty of “for local use only” applications. Over the years, these organizations have accumulated thousands of Microsoft Access databases and have encountered problems – and a fair number of disasters, such as the following:
• Microsoft Access database files can become corrupt. • Passwords can be forgotten or lost when employees are transferred or leave the organization. • *.MDB source code files can be misplaced or become corrupt, leaving the compiled *.MDE files available, but with no way for employees to make changes to the database application. • The employee who developed the database application leaves the organization before the application is completed, and no database development expert is available to continue working on the application.
Our top-notch experts have seen some of these problems so often that we’ve developed software tools to quickly and effectively combat these common problems. We’ve built tools that can recover corrupt database files, retrieve passwords, and convert Access *.MDE files back to *.MDB files. We can use these tools to provide the best cost-effective software solutions for your business, too.
